Life is such a blessing and I make a point to have ours documented as often as I can. I had been wanting to do something fun with our family photos so that the kids would be able to enjoy them too. Stumbling upon Pinhole Press and their ABC book got me all excited!
Creating and customizing the book was tons of fun. I was impressed with how easy the whole process was, adding your photos and dragging them into place couldn’t have been easier. I was able to use so many of our family photos and customize the words on each page. Our son has enjoyed looking through the book and I love that it is helping him to understand his letters better.
We also snagged a 60 piece puzzle and I chose a picture of me and my son. We had a mommy and me photo session right after I found out I was pregnant with our daughter, so these photos are so special to me. This photo reminds me of such an exciting time and how I wanted to soak up every minute of just having one kiddo for a few more months. We have so much fun working on putting it together and I love that it is a quiet time activity I can do with him.
The last gift I created was the 12 piece magnet set. I really just wanted to have another way to display our family photos around the house and I thought these would be perfect! Again, it is such a great way to share the photos that are so precious to me with our kids. We painted our old fridge with chalkboard paint so that our son could draw and create on it, so these magnets are just another fun addition to his artwork.
The quality of the book, the puzzle and the magnets are all top notch. As you can see in the photo, the puzzle is a nice size and 60-pieces is just about the perfect amount to do with a 3-year-old who has a short attention span.
I think the ABC book is my favorite of the three, it makes me want to design more of their books!
You can create an emotions book, colors, numbers and a handful of others. The book is printed on glossy ultrathick paper and spiral bound which makes it very durable, a must with 3-year-olds, am I right?! Overall I am so pleased with all of the items we ordered and I will definitely be back to order gifts for our families and friends!
