It’s finally spring, and you know what that means—it’s wedding season. If you’re part of a happy couple tying the knot this year, you have a lot of planning and organizing on your plate. And once the big day and the honeymoon are over, there’s one last task to wrap up the wedding celebration: sending out the thank you notes.
We all know that packing a lunch is the wise, grownup thing to do—it’s healthier and more affordable than that meat-stack sandwich from the deli (and really, who has time to wait in line for one of those designer chopped salads). But it’s tricky right?
Shopping for kids’ clothes can be equal parts stressful and fun (usually tipping the scales over into the stressful part). We usually end up hauling kids around the mall only to find very few items we like, or attempting to squeeze a bulky stroller and two rowdy boys into a quaint boutique shop that is really too small to accommodate children, even though they have great children’s clothes.
Consequentially, I’ve grown to love shopping online. The options are more unique and if you make a point to scour the sales pages, particularly when seasons are changing, you can find some really great amazing items for a great price. For example, boots are great to purchase this time of year, as they are still relevant for crispy spring nights and pair great with shorts and leggings.
Making interesting lunches that my kids will eat is always a challenge. Add in the healthy factor that I am after, and it can be next to impossible. Lunch is a very important meal; they have used a lot of brainpower and need nourishment to finish the day out strong.
