Your memories are etched within the pages of all that we create, but there’s one special book that has continued to tell the most compelling stories over and over again: The Board Book of Names and Faces.
To fully understand the significance of Pinhole Press board books, we must travel back in time to 2011 and revisit the creation of the Big Book of Names and Faces, a simply designed photo book that showcases photos of a child’s loved ones. Watching the reactions of children as they recognized Mom, Dad, and all of their favorite people within the pages of our big, bright photo book was remarkable.
But, there was just one problem: the Big Book of Names and Faces was difficult for tiny hands to navigate. Enter: The Mini Board Book of Names and Faces.
The Mini Board Book of Names and Faces
The Mini Board Book of Names and Faces was thoughtfully designed as a shrunken-down, extra-tough version of its predecessor. The board book pages are rigid, durable, and finished with a glossy coating. Its compact size makes flipping through pages easy for independent little ones, and its spiral binding allows for seamless page-turning; whether your book has 20 pages, 40 pages, or anything in between.
It wasn’t long before our loyal customers and other memory-keeping enthusiasts fell in love with the board book’s practicality and design. We’re humbly thankful to have been recognized by The Today Show, Kelle Hampton, Cup of Jo, and many others that love spreading smiles as much as we do.
The Mommy & Me and Daddy & Me Board Books
We watched in amazement as you shared photos and videos of your Mini Names and Faces Books with us through Facebook, Instagram, and email. There’s a certain magic sparked from the creativity and love that goes into each customized board book. We noticed the emphasis placed on the special moments shared between parents and their children, so in 2013, we released the “Mommy & Me” and “Daddy & Me” board books to celebrate the unique bond between a parent and their child.
