Now that the leaves are changing and the temperature is getting cooler, it means we can finally bake all things pumpkin! I’m always looking for a healthier snack to bring along to work or to have after dinner. This Pumpkin Banana Bread is the perfect thing to satisfy your fall sweet tooth. The first thing to know about Sarah Selby is that she’d rather you didn’t call her by her first name. “Too many Sarahs out there,” she says. “I prefer to go only by my last name, Selby or Selbs.” Selby is a New England native who grew up in White River Junction, VT and went to college in New Hampshire at Keene State, where she earned her BFA in graphic design.
Selby’s inspiration for her work comes from many sources.

Do you guys know Pinhole Press? They are my favorite website for personalized kids gifts. Because our family is all far away, in Michigan, I love including family photos in Ollie’s toys, and Pinhole Press makes it so easy. Ollie has the memory game with our family members, and I’ve made a Names and Faces Book for my niece. Last weekend we went on a picnic and I brought along our latest Pinhole Press purchase, the Family Faces Sticker Book.
Don’t you just love heading to the mailbox in December? Every day there’s a new stack of holiday photo cards showing off a family portrait of friends and relatives. We love these reminders of all of my far-flung friends and family, and look forward to seeing them every year.
Hey there, I’m Lauren, blogger over at Taking in the Seitz and mom to one sweet little girl, Teagan. In addition to that, I work in an elementary school as a reading specialist. I love blending my work as a teacher with my online communities, and sharing what I have learned over the years.
I’ve decided that perfection is overrated. It has to be. I don’t have time for it, nor do I want to chase an elusive and unattainable goal. As a wife, Mama, blogger (My Life in the Blink) and full-time teacher, my plate is more than full. I know that this is the case for most people these days, whether you are a parent or not. Now more than ever, it is so easy to find ourselves trying to do it all, to be it all. Between smartphones, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and many other social media platforms, there is always someone who seems to be doing more and doing it better or faster.
