Traveling with kids is always fun and exciting! My two kids are usually bursting at the seams to get on the road, but are “bored” or antsy after just a few minutes driving! To help curb their “boredom” on our upcoming vacation, I decided to put together activity boxes for each of my kids! These boxes are perfect for road trips, flights, or even just a few minutes of sanity at home for momma on those late spring afternoons!
To create these fun boxes, you really just need to pull together some supplies and games from around your house! I grabbed some of our favorite art supplies (crayons, paints, paper, markers) + our favorite Pinhole Press Memory Game. I let both of my kids create their own personalized memory game, so each game is unique and very special to them both! They can play a matching game by themselves, or can “race” to see who can find all of the matches first!
You can use a box to hold all of the fun goodies, or even a ziploc bag if you are short on space or taking your activities on the road!
These fun games and supplies are sure to keep your kiddos occupied for a while!
