My parents have 19 (almost 20!) grandchildren. The evidence is kept on their refrigerator, where an individual picture of each granddaughter and grandson is kept and updated yearly… at least that’s the goal. That fridge shows my 7-year-old as a kindergartener, my 6-year-old as a chubby cheeked toddler and my almost four-year-old as a sleeping newborn. I’ve been meaning to send new pictures for years but constantly forget… sorry, mom! To make up for my slacking, I gathered up recent photos of my three littles, my siblings sent me current pictures of their kids and I popped them onto Pinhole Press to make the perfect little Valentine’s gift- these beautiful magnets for Mom and Dad to love for the next 6-12 months. Now all their lovely grandchildren, even though some are 3000 miles away, can give them a nice big (current!) smile every morning as they reach for the milk.

And, while I was at it, I sent a set to my little brother and his growing family. Hopefully their little toddler will entertain himself with the faces of all the cousins he loves while mom, dad and brand-new baby bask in some sleepy Valentine love!
