I’m a designer so whenever I’m on the hunt for gifts for my kids, I ask myself, “What’s creative and thoughtful?”
This past holiday season, I decided to give each kid in the family a “blank canvas” for drawing beautiful works of art. From scribble pads and photo journals to magnetic listpads and photo pads, every one received something different along with a multicolored pencil. Now, we (the adults) get to be the gift recipients throughout the year when our kids run up to us with the touching and on-so creative drawings they’ve penciled. Each piece of paper is a new piece of art – and a new memory.
