Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with orders at Pinhole Press and Pinhole Pro.
- Provide tutorial guidance to customers for our websites and software.
- Respond to urgent requests appropriately, effectively manage time and have an awareness of call volume and needs in order to support team and team goals.
- Work to meet or exceed individual and team goals.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree and 2-3 years customer service experience in a photography related industry or an inbound call center preferred
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, problem solving and follow up skills

Web Developer: Cohoes, NY
Pinhole Press is seeking a creative, experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity to join a development team that is passionate about creating and developing a quickly growing site that offers high-end photo products to professional photographers and consumers. As part of the multi-disciplinary development team, the Web Developer supports front-end development and the launch of new on-line products and services. Based on project requirements, this position is responsible to design, code, test and debug new software systems or apply modifications to existing software.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into a software solution
- Develop new and existing web applications based upon solid technical designs
- Help define technical designs through collaboration with other team members
- Actively contribute to our Scrum process and help evolve it to improve our ability to deliver quality software
- Perform limited initial testing and assist in guiding our quality assurance team to allow them to test effectively
- Troubleshoot and correct reported issues
- Analyze application for bottlenecks and optimize performance as needed
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field of study
- Two or more years of web programming experience, with significant experience in ActionScript 3 or JavaScript
- Experience with Flex, jQuery, Java EE, or Java SE a plus.
- Expert knowledge of Object Oriented programming principles.
- Experience working with source management tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus the ability to collaborate with local and remote team member
